I chose Healthcare Administration because it allowed me to complete my bachelor’s and still investigate different interests. My long-term career goal is to obtain a position as an administrator in a hospital. The course work is assisting me in this goal by preparing me for a management position upon graduation. For example, our human resources class reviewed the different governing bodies and laws pertaining to employment. I feel comfortable utilizing that information and other resources to answer questions that arise. I am aware that experience is going to ensure that I can obtain my long-term goal but I am comfortable saying that I am prepared for the workforce.
