Ten years ago, the Board of Trustees set a small private college on a new path. Beaver College became Arcadia University, with a mission to prepare students for life in a rapidly changing global society. Now Arcadia is a national leader in international education and global learning. Over the past year, we expanded into three colleges, a new school, and added new online programs and three-year undergraduate degrees.
Changing the name of a historic institution from Beaver College to Arcadia University made headlines around the world. A University that dared to change its name is building a compelling new identity.
