I Experienced the World Firsthand.
The First Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE) in London opened my eyes to what the world has to offer, other than what I've seen close to home. What I learned from the people I met, the places I've seen, and the challenges I've faced and overcome cannot be taught in a classroom setting, and I feel very lucky that I was able to experience all of it firsthand.
The experience was academically challenging, especially because the grading system and the way classes are run were very different than what I was used to. I learned how to pace myself throughout the semester and focus specifically on the final papers and final exams.
