"Living in a different culture teaches you to challenge your opinions and prompts you to learn to adapt to the unfamiliar," says Nicole Baker '12.
"I spent my first semester of college studying in Stirling, Scotland, through Arcadia's First Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE). My experience in Scotland helped me to learn to manage my time. Academically, I adapted and learned in another style of education. I am now confident and able to change my study habits in order to succeed in multiple environments.
