Find Your Space in the Commons.

The University Commons will create a more united campus community because it will be an area where everyone can get together. It will be very central, and very public, and this will lead to more social interaction between students, faculty, and staff. I think my experiences at Arcadia will be better because of this heightened social aspect. I’m excited to have more places to hang out with friends and for cozy nooks to get some studying done. I look forward to trying the coffee and exploring this building, which has been Arcadia’s focus since I arrived.

I selected Arcadia for its small size and warm community. I enjoy the University’s proximity to Philadelphia and the personal attention I’ve received from faculty. The new University Commons student center will add to this warm community by serving as a place where students can meet and spend time between classes. It will also give us more room for clubs and activities. As a student who participates in a variety of clubs,
I know how important additional space is. The Commons will provide a fresh space for the entire campus community to use.
