Get Ready for the Real World.

Amanda Card ’12
Arcadia didn’t just help me find a career. It helped me find me. Arcadia kept me focused on the future and gave me the resources I ended to take on the job market. I knew I could conquer any job interview with confidence because I have a well-established resume with impressive references.
I was Editor in Chief of The Tower—our student newspaper—and committed to taking it to new heights. Watching The Tower thrive, I knew I would pursue a career that would challenge me creatively and call on my Arcadia experience to guide me to success.
During the summer leading into my senior year, I was published twice in an online magazine and wrote business features, film reviews, and local news for the Chestnut Hill Local. I also interned for a local start-up company as the marketing intern coordinator and copy editor. That firm would later offer me a full-time marketing position that I could comfortably turn down because I have better opportunities lined up.
