Put Your Skills to the Test.
Christopher Finney ’12
I’m attending Michigan State University College of Law. I feel prepared for law school because Arcadia provided me with a great educational foundation.
My time at Arcadia’s School of Global Business was full of great learning experiences. I established personal connections with multiple professors—something that would be improbable at a larger school—and I’m so grateful for that.
As part of the Policy Formulation and Administration Capstone course with Dr. Annette Halpin, Assistant Professor of Business, my group was awarded first place for Best Overall Performance at the 48th Annual International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition in Long Beach, Calif. I learned that teamwork is a necessity for success—establishing respect, trust and common ground is essential so you can move forward with a cohesive strategy.
The competition was a two-phased business simulation. Two world-class business professionals adjudicated us on the quality of our business plan, success of our simulation, and overall quality of our presentation.
Without applying your knowledge, you don’t understand the consequences of your decisions. My coursework prepared me with the theoretical skills to succeed.
