Study to Succeed.

My professors make subject matter come alive. Having a professor who’s aware of your potential and deeply interested in your success makes all the difference.
Whether it is a larger Biology lecture or a small University Seminar, I have one-on-one experiences where my professors know me by name, and are interested in not only my grades, but how I am doing outside of class. I’ve been able to text professors with queries or concerns, and I’ve even been invited over for dinner.
When I fell behind in Organic Chemistry I, my academic adviser, Dr. Joshua Blustein, Associate Professor of Psychology, gave me videos and trivia that helped me understand the concepts I was missing. He was interested in making sure that I excelled in a course that wasn’t even under his department, and that truly amazed me.
