Arcadia University has a strong institutional commitment to diversity in all of its programming, enrollment, and employment practices. This commitment extends to, and encompasses, the scope of the university's study abroad activities and student recruitment for education abroad programs. The center supports initiatives for expanding access to study abroad to a wider range of students. Members of groups historically underrepresented in this area of education are encouraged to explore the center's
many program offerings. The website offers comprehensive
financial aid resources, as well as information for specific student populations, including LGBT students and those with special needs. The center’s association with the cultural-exchange portal
DiversityAbroad.com underscores its commitment to the innumerable benefits of making study abroad available to all students. Arcadia is a sponsor of DiversityAbroad’s 2008-2009 Go Global Tour, which will reach some 50 campuses where the student body is primarily or significantly made up of
minority students.
