Director of Student Services
Tim arrived at Arcadia University with an extensive background in Irish history, culture and politics after he received his Master’s of Arts in Irish Studies from the Catholic University of America in May 2001 and his B.A. in History from Pennsylvania State University in 1998. While working towards his graduate degree, which concentrated on Northern Irish and Irish politics and modern history, Tim had the opportunity to serve as a Parliamentary Assistant in the Dáil Éireann for the former Irish Taoiseach John Bruton. During his work in the Dáil, he assisted in drafting party legislation and helped formulate party strategy and new opposition platforms. At The College of Global Studies, Tim has worked with our programs in Ireland, Greece, and the United Kingdom before being appointed Director of Student Services. With the support of his staff of Program Managers, Tim leads the Student Services team to prepare students for their upcoming time abroad. Tim also acts as committee chair for the International Affairs Committee, an internal group developed among the staff which focuses on infusing international programming themes throughout the University community.
