The Alliance for Global Education
is a partnership of the Arcadia University College of Global Studies and the Institute for Study Abroad at Butler University, formed with the vision of opening non-traditional destinations to an ever-growing and more diverse U.S. undergraduate population.
Program
Contemporary India: Development, Environment, Public Health
is based at the
Alliance's center in downtown Pune
, a vibrant, bustling city of 3.5 million located a short train ride from Mumbai.
Take part in an
internship opportunity or directed research
-- opportunities for placement within Pune's most exciting NGOs, the international business and technology community, and institutions such as the National Film Archives.
Enroll in a
core course on Contemporary India, and in electives
including Social Justice, Development Economics, Environmental Issues, Film, and Public Health for a total of 15-18 credits per semester.
Full range of co-curricular opportunities and urban and rural field trips complements the program curriculum.
