Another Study Abroad Honor for Arcadia’s David Larsen
Yet another honor for Arcadia’s David Larsen! Last week,
the Forum on Education Abroad
bestowed its Peter A. Wollitzer Advocacy Award on David Larsen, PhD, who is the outgoing director of the Arcadia University College of Global Studies. The award recognizes a professional who has been exceptionally effective in influencing educational institutions to understand and support education abroad, including standards of good practice, data collection and research, curricular development and academic design, and assessment. The award spotlights a career based on the lifelong belief that global education has a profound potential to transform individual lives, communities, institutions, and our world. The distinction also comes as a result of Larsen’s key role in helping to make Arcadia a truly international university. Several hundred U. S. and foreign colleges and universities committed to international education are members of the Forum on Education Abroad.
