The School hosts a number of seminars throughout the year providing an opportunity for clinical professionals, academic staff and students to learn about and discuss current issues related to nursing and midwifery education, and the healthcare profession as a whole.

The Department of Nursing and Midwifery believes Nursing in the 21st century involves working in partnership with people to help them identify and to meet health needs, whether in hospital, local clinics or the patients' own homes. Non-credit clinical experiences are possible for students with the appropriate pre-requisites. Some for credit opportunities may be possible also.
