The University of Adelaide is located in the cultural heart of the city. The four residential colleges providing accommodation for undergraduate students are located just north of the city center, within 10-20 minutes walking distance of the campus and even closer to the O’Connell Street shopping district. 


Residential Colleges

Lincoln College

Facing the city parklands, Lincoln College provides a relaxed setting for its 240 residents. Students are housed in single bedrooms and can take advantage of the numerous social and sporting activities offered by the College Club. New students are also welcomed to the college through an extensive orientation. Lincoln has been popular among Arcadia students.  

St Ann’s College

The College Club at St. Ann’s organizes many events including a formal ball for residents and an orientation program which pairs each new resident with a senior student. Among the other services provided by the college includes free shuttle service to and from campus. 

St Mark’s College

Tradition is a hallmark at St. Mark’s College; among the time honored rituals is Formal Hall where its 230 residents gather four evenings each week in full academic gowns for community dining. With a limited number of spaces available each year, the application process for is very competitive and highly selective.

Student Apartments

University of Adelaide Village

Located in Adelaide’s vibrant West End near the Central Market, the Village provides a more independent style of accommodation. Its 400 students are housed in fully furnished, modern apartments. Students prepare their own meals in fully equipped kitchens or can take advantage of the Village’s close proximity to numerous cafés and restaurants along Gouger Street. Residents access the Village by smart-card and staff members are available 24 hours a day. About 25 minutes walking distance from the University, a free shuttle service also provides transportation to and from campus.
