University of Western Australia
Return to Australia Housing Information Page
The University of Western Australia has a vibrant residential community with colleges located in close proximity to the campus. Colleges provide full meal plans for students and offer easy access via public transportation to many of Perth’s attractions. Arcadia students have traditionally been housed in Trinity and Currie Hall.
With over 370 students in residence, Trinity offers a wide range of activities throughout the semester, beginning with an orientation welcoming new students. The college’s experienced, friendly and outgoing staff make it a popular choice among Arcadia students.
Set on the edge of Perth’s spacious and tranquil Kings Park, University Hall provides accommodation for 250 students. With the college’s Residents’ Club organizing a wide range of social and sporting activities, University Hall is a popular venue for Arcadia students.
St. Catherine’s College
St. Catherine’s is the University’s only women’s residence. The Student Club at St. Catherine’s organizes a number of activities including resident theater productions, art exhibitions, musical performances and the annual gala Annual Ball.
St. Thomas More
Though administered by the Catholic Diocese of Perth, St. Thomas More welcomes students from different faiths and beliefs. In keeping with Catholic tradition, its 170 students are expected to participate in ten hours of community service each semester.
