Trinity College, Dublin Housing Information
Return to Ireland Housing Information Page
Located in the heart of the Dublin city center, Trinity College melds with the city and offers students every possible option for life outside of the classroom. Students studying with Arcadia at Trinity College live in Arcadia provided flats and are positioned in an ideal locale to mix with Irish society.
The flats are located in the residential neighborhoods south of the Dublin city center, concentrated in the Dublin 2, Dublin 4, and Dublin 6 areas. Each flat is within an easy commute of TCD, about a 20-30 minutes walk outside of the city center. Most flats accommodate three to five students, with a shared bathroom, kitchen and living area. Students should anticipate having to share a room; but while a single flat may be co-ed, any individual roommate will be of the same gender.
The accommodations are self-catered and students should anticipate preparing their own meals and shopping at a nearby grocery store. Each flat is equipped with a clothes washer, television, and telephone to be used with a calling card. None of the apartments have clothes dryers. As energy costs are so high in Ireland, most people dry their clothes on a clothes horse (rack). These are provided in each of the apartments. Wireless internet access is also provided.
Arcadia apartments are available only to students studying abroad with Arcadia in Dublin.
A €20 key deposit will be collected from students living in Arcadia housing.
