University of Limerick Housing Information

Reaching across the River Shannon, the University of Limerick’s campus is a sprawling scene of academic building, athletic fields, open spaces, and student villages. Students are able to become involved in all of the aspects of campus life without having to wander far from home.
Arcadia University houses all UL students on-campus in university accommodations, with a preference for Cappavilla Village. Students reside in apartment style flats which accommodate up to six students in each flat, with each student having an individual bedroom and bathroom. Student flats may be co-ed.
UL housing is self-catered. Students can do their daily shopping at markets a short commute by bus from campus. A small shop at Cappavilla is available for any little items you might need to purchase. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen, and shared living area, with television and modern amenities. Self-service laundry facilities are available within the complex. Telephones are located in every flat for house to house calls only; calling cards are required for local and long distance calls. Internet access to the UL network is available to students from their bedrooms.
Cappavilla Village is located on the north end of the University of Limerick campus, across the River Shannon. A state-of-the-art pedestrian bridge connects it to the center of campus. The bus stop to the Limerick city center is a short distance away.
If necessary, Arcadia may place students in alternative accommodations of comparable standard and within a similar distance to campus.
