Celebrating Spain as a Leader in Renewable Energy

Arcadia and the University of Granada are collaborating on several events to celebrate Semana Verde (Green Week) during the week of April 20-24, coinciding with Earth Day in the United States on April 22. Events include an Arcadia-sponsored event which will take Arcadia students and Spanish students to visit a solar energy plant in Almería for a guided tour. Seventeen American students and eighteen Spanish students will attend. The Oficina Verde of the University of Granada will provide a workshop to all interested students on renewable energy during the week prior to the excursion.
