University of Western Australia
With a strong national and international research reputation, The School of Sport, Exercise and Health at The University of Western Australia offers extensive coursework to teach skills in sport science, school teaching, health promotion or recreation management. Studying Sport at Durham University will enable you to be taught by leading academics that are internationally recognized for their research while developing a comprehensive understanding of a number of key issues relating to sport in contemporary society. The program of study includes topics such as sports development, sports policy, sport and exercise physiology, the sociology of sport, health and physical activity and sport and exercise psychology. Durham has excellent teaching facilities including a dedicated Sport and Exercise Science Laboratory and also offers a number of exciting opportunities for you to take part in community-based sports initiatives such as working with disadvantaged young in the local region. With the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 and the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London, never has it been more necessary to prepare well-rounded graduates for entry into sport-related professions and industries.
University of Ulster
The University of Ulster has been one of the major providers of undergraduate courses in Sport in Northern Ireland since the 1970s and offers visiting students coursework in Sport and Exercise Science including Physical Education, Sports Development, and Sport & Leisure Management. The School of Sport Studies at The University of Ulster strives to be the leading institution in Ireland for the study of Sport and Exercise and to use their knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the local, national and international community. In addition to participating in service opportunities in the local communities, students can attend lectures offered by the University of Ulster Sport and Exercise Sciences Research Institute.
University of Otago
The School of Physical Education at the University of Otago draws many students from abroad who are attracted by the expertise and commitment of the department staff and by the picturesque geography of Dunedin city and the Otago region. Situated at the head of the scenic Otago harbour, Dunedin is a vibrant and culturally rich city with an abundance of sporting facilities and is surrounded by surf beaches and mountains. Subjects in Exercise Science available to visiting students include sport and leisure studies, outdoor education, exercise and sport science, exercise prescription and management, professional studies, and dance studies. Otago's School of Physical Education offers world class facilities housing some of the most advanced equipment in the world, including the only swimming flume in the Southern Hemisphere, an environmental chamber, and an immersion tank. The School also has a comprehensive inventory of outdoor education equipment to support the practical experience programme, including kayaks, Canadian canoes, tents, and trekking and camping equipment.
University of Stirling

The Department also runs an annual series of Sports Studies seminars, The Stirling Seminars in Sport. These seminars are given by a variety of academic and non academic speakers involved in different aspects of sport including internationally recognized scholars and public figures.
