Student Arrival Information - Lecce Spring Program

Italy Spring Program Arriving Flight Details

There is no group flight for students participating on the Università del Salento - Lecce Spring program; however, Arcadia recommends that you consider booking this flight through our travel provider Student Universe (click the Student Universe logo below.)

In order to be eligible for transportation arranged by Arcadia in-country staff from the airport you must do the following:

  1. Book a flight that arrives in Rome prior to 12:00 noon on the scheduled arrival date for your program. Students arriving by 12:00 noon will be met at the Rome - Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and transported to to the hotel for the orientation in Rome. Please contact Arcadia if you have any questions.

  2. Students arriving after 12:00 noon will be responsible for their own transportation to the hotel/housing and should contact their Program Manager for additional arrival information.

  3. Complete the Online Flight Form.

  4. Indicate whether you would like to be included in transportation from the airport.

Please Note

  1. Lecce Program Students will participate in an orientation in Rome with Arcadia Staff. Students will then travel by train to Lecce. Arcadia staff in Rome will book/provide your train ticket to Lecce. Upon completion of the program, it is the student’s responsibility to make travel arrangements for their return to Rome, the US or any additional travel, from Lecce.

  2. There isn’t a group flight organized for the Spring 2011 Lecce Program.

  3. In the event that your flight is delayed or you choose to arrive after the designated arrival time, you may be responsible for traveling independently from the airport to your housing or the orientation site.

  4. Orientation is mandatory for all students.  Please keep this in mind when booking your flights.

  5. If you plan to arrive prior to the scheduled arrival date listed on your program calendar, all transportation and accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of the student.

  6. In the event that other transportation arrangements can be made – please be in contact with your Program Manager after you have provided Arcadia with a confirmed flight itinerary.

  7. Finally, please review all of the rules and regulations that apply to your ticket prior to purchase.

  8. Once you have made your booking, you are required to complete the Online Flight Form.

Arcadia University partners with Student Universe to provide discounted student fares on designated Group Flights or on suggested available flights. Student Universe
