If you are an undergraduate Arcadia University student, please make all study abroad payments on Arcadia University’s PayNow site, or in person at the One Stop Shop.

Study Abroad Program Deposit

Pay Your DepositWhen do I pay?

Within 10 days of the date of your acceptance, you must submit a $500 enrollment deposit to reserve your place in your study abroad program. If you're accepted to a program after the application deadline, the deposit is due immediately.  The program deposit is non-refundable.

Should I pay?

Certain schools prefer to pay this deposit on behalf of their students.  For a list of these schools, please review our list of depositing schools. If your school pays this deposit, return your Intent to Enroll form to Arcadia and contact your home school to notify them of your confirmation of acceptance and pay any deposits that they may require.

If you are an undergraduate Arcadia University student, please pay your program deposit on Arcadia University’s PayNow site under “Study Abroad Deposit” or in person at the One Stop Shop.

Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card payments can be made online or by calling 866-927-2234, x 2148

Online Check: Electronic transfer payments from your checking or savings account can be made online.

(A processing fee of $25 will be charged for an online check payment returned for any reason.)

Payment Options

Monthly Payment Plan

For your convenience, we offer an extended payment plan through Academic Management Services (AMS) called the Tuition Pay Plan. AMS, acting as our agent, charges participants a $45 service fee for fall or spring programs and a $55 service fee for full-year programs. To enroll in the Tuition Pay Plan, you must first submit your non-refundable $500 deposit to Arcadia. Any amount up to the balance of the program fee may then be paid in monthly installments.  For full enrollment details please download an enrollment form. Payments begin as early as April 15 for fall and full-year students and November 15 for spring students. When enrolling online for the Tuition Pay Plan please search in "Pennsylvania" for "Arcadia University The College of Global Studies.

Financial Aid Arrangements

If you are using financial aid from your home school toward your Arcadia University bill, have your home school financial aid office remit a Financial Aid Arrangements form by the full payment due date. We will defer billing for any aid that will be disbursed by your home school until 10 days after the disbursement date listed.  Any balance not covered on your Financial Aid Arrangements form or on a Tuition Pay Plan must be paid by the full payment due date.

Payment Due Dates

No finance, interest or late charges are imposed when payment is received on or before the full payment due date. We will send you a statement of your account each month until the balance is zero.

A late fee of $50 will be charged for payments not received by the due date. Student accounts more than 60 days past due will be subject to a monthly finance charge equal to one percent of the past due balance.

The full payment due dates for semester programs are as follows:

  • All Summer Programs: 1 May
  • Fall Semester (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa):  1 June
  • Fall Semester (all other programs): 1 July
  • Spring Semester (All Programs):  1 December

The full payment due dates for academic year programs are as follows: 

  • U.S. Academic Year: 60% by 1 June, 40% by 1 December
  • Southern Hemisphere Academic Year: 60% by 1 December, 40% by 1 June
