Study Abroad at King's College London

  • Popular with students because of its central London location and long and distinguished reputation.

  • Study in state-of-the-art facilities at one of King's three main campuses.

  • Known for its academic quality in the biological and health sciences, humanities, and physical sciences.

Program

At around 19,000 students, King's is one of the largest University of London Colleges. Over the last few years, King's has spent almost £300 million on new buildings and renovations. Significant work was completed in 1999 on two of its campuses, and recently the College converted a stately Victorian-era structure into a modern library and information center to support Humanities, Law, and Physical Sciences and Engineering.

Disciplinary areas of note include the Health Sciences faculty, which has one of the broadest course selections of any UK university and is regularly consulted by the government for comment and research on issues of public health. The Department of War Studies, unique among UK institutions, offers courses in public policy and international relations

If you are considering medicine or any of the life sciences you will find distinctive pre-med options.

For English literature students, King's offers a new program in English literature and theater that takes advantage of London's Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. And most recently, King's has introduced a Film Studies Program. Other subjects you may want to consider are:  philosophy, theology, divinity and religious studies, and pure and applied mathematics.
