Instructional Designer and Consultant
Stephen arrived at Arcadia University's College of Global Studies in May 2012 after several years of teaching experience and program management in international education. Prior to his arrival, Stephen worked as an instructor at two prestigious universities in Chile, and as a program manager in an international volunteer service-learning initiative run by the Government of Chile and the United Nations Development Programme. Stephen holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Kentucky and an MA in Anthropology of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. As a result of this background he envisions education as a cultural and social process, one which can be enhanced through the thoughtful application of new technologies. As a study abroad student in London, UK and as an international education development fieldworker, Stephen is committed to international education as a life-changing activity, and as a means to promote equity, understanding and peace. He is an avid outdoors-man, and a proud family man.
