Arcadia University Melbourne Center

Located in the St. Kilda suburb of Melbourne, on bus and nearby tram routes, the Center is about a 30-minute commute from RMIT University, allowing close proximity to Melbourne's Central Business District and Arts Precinct. St. Kilda is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Melbourne, famous for its beach, theaters and festivals. The area is very popular for students, young professionals, artists and tourists due to its location and cultural resources. Fabulous restaurants, cafes and shops are all within easy walking distance of the accommodation. Arcadia's administrative offices are also located in the Center, and our friendly, enthusiastic staff plans programming that involves students in the surrounding community and in the cultural life of greater Melbourne.

The core house and grounds preserve a large family residence in a conservation district, part of Melbourne's early 20th century expansion from downtown-based to beach-side communities. The twin-bedded student rooms supplied with linen and wireless internet have their own sinks, desks and wardrobes, and share shower rooms and toilets over two floors. The self-catering facility has a large modern kitchen where students prepare their own meals, along with a dining and meeting room, laundry facilities, study room and lounge. There is also a welcoming outdoor space for students to enjoy during the semester.
