Alumni Mentor Program for Students
The Office of Career Education, in partnership with Alumni Relations, offers you the opportunity to have an alumni mentor for the duration of your time at Arcadia University. A mentor-mentee relationship is invaluable; a more experienced individual willing to share their professional know-how and personal skills with an "exploring" pre-professional can greatly contribute to career growth and development. We are eager for you to have such a relationship with someone who can relate to your experiences: an AU alumnus who has passionately volunteered his or her time to mentoring. Mentors have been selected from various professions, and all mentors are eager to develop a relationship with you. This individual can offer you insights, advice, help you expand your areas of interest, and possibly lead to a contact that may help your professional career.
All undergraduates are eligible to apply, and top applicants will be interviewed by the Office of Career Education before being matched with an alumni mentor. Selected mentors and mentees will be invited to attend a formal networking event in the fall semester as a component of the program requirement to be actively engaged in the mentoring relationship.
