Two Master’s Programs: Physician Assistant and Public Health

The Arcadia University Department of Medical Science and Community Health opened a campus in Christiana, Del., in the fall of 2006 and now offers the Physician Assistant and Master of Public Health programs in Delaware. This program builds on the relationships that Arcadia enjoys in the Delaware Maryland and New Jersey medical communities. Arcadia University has affiliations with all Delaware hospitals and numerous physician practices for the clinical education of Physician Assistant students. The Delaware Department of Education and the Accreditation Review Council for Physician Assistant Programs (ARC-PA) approved the expansion of the Arcadia PA program in Delaware. The admissions criteria and curriculum for the Christiana Campus are identical to the two-year program on the Glenside Campus.
Arcadia University begins offering its Master of Public Health degree program at the Christiana Campus, starting with January 2009 courses. The M.P.H. degree educates community public health professionals to promote the health of individuals, families, communities, and the environment. The M.P.H. program offered in Christiana, Del., is identical to the curriculum offered at Arcadia’s main campus in Glenside, Pa.
Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program, which prepares graduate students from across the country for careers in today’s rapidly changing medical environment, is available at the Christiana Campus.
