Joel Wagoner, MBA, CPA, CMA, CFM, is Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Arcadia University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton Evening School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Regis University in 2005, graduating with highest honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM).

Professional Interests

Wagoner’s professional background includes experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, decision support, financial modeling, forecasts and analyses, public accounting and internal audit. His professional experience is primarily in the Insurance, Technology, Non-Profit, Retail, and Manufacturing industries.

He is designated as an Associate of Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) and Associate of Research and Planning (ARP) by the Insurance Institute of America. In addition, he is certified in Teradata relational database management software and Microstrategy business intelligence software.

Wagoner is the Vice President of Professional Development of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. He has served as Steering Committee Vice President and Finance Committee Chair of The Peace Center, President of the Professionally Speaking Chapter of Toastmasters International and as Vice Chairman of the Jenkintown Borough Zoning Hearing Board.
