Self-Service:
Online Registration Instructions

Current Upperclass and Graduate Students

Please follow the registration procedures for undergraduate students / graduate students and use the new online Self-Service system. You can go directly to Self-Service (www.arcadia.edu/selfservice) or access Self-Service from the Tools menu on MyArcadia.

  1. Log into Self-Service using your MyArcadia login and password.
  2. Click on the Register tab.
  3. Click on Current Students.
  4. Select a Period.
  5. Click on Section Search.
    • When using the Section Search function, be sure to select a 2014 Period, ie. Summer I, Summer II, Summer III, Fall.
    • The Course Code must be no more than 2-3 letters and three numbers (ie. EN472 or PBH640). All days and times will appear.
    • Searching for a partial course code (e.g., EN4 or EN47) works better than searching for a full course code (e.g., EN472). Do not include section numbers in the course code field.
  6. Click Add.
  7. View Cart or Proceed to Registration.
  8. Please note: if the section you prefer is closed (full) at the time of registration, register for all open courses and finalize the online registration process. Waitlisting (waiting in the queue for an available seat) is now supported by Self-Service, and you should return to the registration process to select any 'waitlist' courses after finishing open course registration. Alternatively you may email registrar@arcadia.edu indicating the course and section for which you would like to waitlist.

New Part-time and Visiting Students (Graduate or Undergraduate)

If you are new to Arcadia, you can create a personal profile and register for a course using our online Self-Service system. Students who have not attended Arcadia University previously are encouraged to call the Enrollment Management Office at 1-877-ARCADIA (1-877-272-2342) with any questions regarding courses, prerequisites and academic advising.

  1. Create Your Personal Profile
  2. Register for Course(s) using Section Search to locate the course for which you want to register.
    • When using the search function, be sure to select a 2014 Period, ie. Summer I, Summer II, Summer III, Fall.
    • The Course Code must be no more than 2-3 letters and three numbers (ie. EN472 or PBH640).
  3. Please note: if the section you prefer is closed (full) at the time of registration, register for all open courses and finalize the online registration process. Then, send an email to registrar@arcadia.edu indicating the course and section for which you would like to waitlist. Waitlisting (waiting in the queue for an available seat) will become part of Self-Service in a future software release.
