Want to Register in a Graduate Course Now?

You don’t need to apply for admission to begin taking online master’s-level courses—you can register for a course as a Special Status student.

Ready to Apply for Admission to a Graduate Program?

You can apply any time—applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year.

What is a Special Status Student?
A Special Status student is a non-matriculated student who has not applied for admission yet. Non-matriculated students may enroll in courses as special status students. Up to 12 graduate credits earned as a Special Status student may be accepted toward a degree if the courses are appropriate for the degree program to which the student later applies. Enrollment as a Special Status student does not ensure admission to a degree program, nor does it guarantee acceptance of the coursework taken as a Special Status student.
