Dr. Hoejin Sim

Dr. Hoejin Sim, a soprano from South Korea, began her voice studies at Seoul Art High School. Upon graduating from Seoul National University, she further continued her study in the United States. At Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, she completed a Master’s degree in Voice Performance. At Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she went on to complete a Master’s degree in Opera and a D.M.A in Voice Performance.
Dr. Sim has performed in many operas including Don Giovanni, L’elisir d’amore, Le nozze di Figaro, and The Magic Flute. Dr. Sim is equally at home in the recital platform, giving solo recitals and participating in numerous church and community concerts. Currently, she teaches at Arcadia University and Temple University, and directs a church choir at Bucks County Presbyterian Church.
