Janine Brodovsky
Janine R. Brodovsky, MSPT, is an associated faculty member who earned her bachelor of science in physical therapy from Quinnipiac College and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Temple University. She is responsible for teaching the content related with the anatomy, physiology, examination and intervention related to the vestibular system. Janine is also involved in teaching the management of persons with brain injury.
Ms. Brodovsky has competency certification for evaluation and treatment of individuals with cervicogenic dizziness, is specialized as a Brain Injury Specialist, has competency certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is certified in the Neurodevelopmental Approach. She has been at MossRehab Hospital since 1987. During her practice with adults with TBI, she noticed that many complained of dizziness. She received a grant to purchase a computerized dynamic posturography machine and to establish a balance and vestibular program at MossRehab. At MossRehab, she has been a clinical instructor for students who come from many different academic programs and serves as a mentor in the neurologic PT residency program.
