Dr. Christopher Gorrell
Dr. Gorrell has treated persons with amputation across the entire episode of care, from immediately post surgery through outpatient therapy. He assumed a position with Good Shepherd Penn Partners as the Senior II Physical Therapist where he continues to work with patients with amputation. Dr. Gorrell was involved in multiple research projects at MossRehab and presented results of the research at professional meetings.
Christopher Gorrell, PT, DPT, teaches our students physical therapist knowledge and skills related to prosthetic devices. Dr. Gorrell received his bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and his DPT from Arcadia University. He is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor. Chirs has extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings. He began his career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, worked in aquatic physical therapy at Temple University, in a private outpatient practice that treated patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, and at MossRehab.
