The PIN can be used to make corrections to the FAFSA, and also serves as the student's e-signature when they file the FAFSA on-line.

Step Three: Click to complete a 2013-14 Graduate Student Federal Direct Stafford Loan Acceptance Form.

2.  Complete a Federal Direct PLUS MPN* (Master Promissory Note) online at www.studentloans.gov.  Federal PIN required.

Those approved on a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan will receive a revised award letter reflecting the Grad PLUS Loan.  Those denied on the basis of credit will receive a notification directly from the U.S. Department of Education.

Students applying for any private, alternative student loans can do so at www.arcadia.edu/financingoptions.

*April 1, 2013 is priority application deadline for summer 2013/fall 2013 semesters; November 1, 2013 for Spring 2014 semester. Applications received after this date will still be processed on a rolling basis.

We encourage you to complete the FAFSA using estimated tax information. Once you file your 2012 federal taxes with the IRS, please return to www.fafsa.gov and select the IRS Data Retrieval option so that your FAFSA can be automatically updated with final IRS tax figures.  In the event a student is randomly selected for verification by Federal Student Aid Programs upon filing the FAFSA and they have not selected the IRS Data Retrieval option, they will be required to request an IRS Tax Transcript directly from the IRS (available by calling 1-800-908-9946, or via Online Services at www.irs.gov.).  Selected students will receive separate notification.  Watch this brief YouTube video on the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.

**Only required for first-time Direct Stafford Loan borrowers at Arcadia University.
