Alumni Association Golden Disc Awards
The Alumni Association presents two Golden Disc Awards each year, provided there are two persons worthy of this distinctive honor.
Please submit names commensurate to the highest award given our alumni. To be eligible for either Golden Disc Award, an alumna/us must have attended or graduated ten or more years ago from Arcadia University and must not be the holder of an honorary degree from Arcadia University. The Golden Disc may not be awarded twice to any individual.
Please give these awards serious attention and nominate the alumni you feel most deserving of this great honor.
Golden Disc Award For Meritorious Service To Arcadia University
The Golden Disc Award for Meritorious Service to Arcadia University is given in recognition of outstanding service to the University, exceeding all expectations of a loyal Beaver alumna/us. This award is presented annually to an alumna/us who has distinguished herself/himself through outstanding service to the University. The recipient will have contributed to the welfare of the University, the welfare of the Alumni Association and be a consistent contributor to the Alumni Fund. Click here to nominate for this award.
Golden Disc Award For Distinguished Achievement
The Golden Disc Award for Distinguished Achievement is presented annually in recognition of significant service or accomplishment in one's profession, business, community, church or synagogue. Through the recipient's private endeavors, the prestige of Arcadia University has been greatly enhanced. The recipient will be a consistent contributor to the Alumni Fund. Alumni Association Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf Award
This award, established in April 1991 at an Alumni Council Meeting, is given in memory of Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf '36, who dedicated herself to both her college and her community.
The Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf Award is presented to alumni in recognition of consistent dedication and superior service to Arcadia University through the Alumni Association, clubs, special events, or other specialized support work.
The Alumni Association may present up to six Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf Awards annually, but six awards need not be awarded each year.
Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf Award Nomination Form. To be eligible for this award, an alumna/us must have attended or graduated from Arcadia University five years ago or more and cannot be the holder of an honorary degree or a Golden Disc Award. Recipients of the award will have a record of contributing to the Arcadia University Annual Fund.
Alumni Association Special Achievement Award
This award is presented annually to an alumna or alumnus of the last decade for significant service, achievement, or accomplishments in business or the professions which enhance the prestige of Arcadia University.
The Alumni Association may present one award each year.
Special Achievement Award Nomination Form. To be eligible for this award, the candidate must be an alumna/us of Arcadia University and not hold an Honorary degree from Arcadia University.
Class Officer Award
This award is presented annually to up to three alumnae or alumni who have made significant contributions to Arcadia University through service to their classes.
Class Officer Award is presented to an alumna/us in recognition of consistent dedication and superior service to Arcadia University through unusual commitment and efforts on behalf of her/his Arcadia University class. Reunion Class Officer Award recipients will have a record of consistent contribution to the Arcadia University Alumni Fund.
Class Officer Award Nomination Form. To be eligible for this award, an alumna/us Class Officer must have attended or graduated from Arcadia University fifteen or more years ago and cannot be the holder of an honorary degree or have received either the Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf or Golden Disc awards. Class Officers are nominated for this award during their Reunion class years.
