Elenore Pepper ’46
Elenore Pepper was an all-around student-athlete, playing Varsity on five teams—Basketball, Tennis, Softball, Riflery, and Field Hockey. Her leadership shown through as Captain of the Field Hockey team and President of the Athletic Association.
Elenore was elected to U.S. Team at all five forward-line positions (not simultaneously) and played on the U.S. Field Hockey Association Touring Teams to England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Amsterdam and South Africa. On Jan. 16, 1988, Eleanor became a member of the first group inducted into the United States Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
