Marlene Lochner Emerich ’55

Marlene Emerich, a four-year player in field hockey, basketball and lacrosse, was recognized for her excellence in the leadership role as captain during both her junior and senior years in field hockey and basketball. Her skill and education resulted in being selected for the United States Field Hockey touring team and going to England in 1955; Marlene was the youngest player selected to the team. She also was the president of the Athletic Association and provided leadership for many others.
