Young Alumni Programs and Events
Alumni who graduated in the last decade are invited to join the Young Alumni Committee of the Alumni Board and assist in planning programs and activities.
Young Alumni Picnic at Homecoming
Saturday, October 13, 2012, 5 p.m.
Catch up with classmates at the Young Alumni Picnic on October 13, 2012 at Homecoming. Don’t forget to qualify for your inscribed paver by July 13 , 2012 so that you can see your name on The Alumni Fund Walk of Pride when you come back for Homecoming! Community Service Program
Young alumni have joined forces with students to work for Habitat for Humanity. Some of these alumni worked together scraping and painting the floor of a church in Kensington.
Young alumni are now engaged in an on-going Community Service Program which addresses the need expressed to socialize with each other in the context of a Community Service program sponsored by Arcadia University.
Reunion Picnic
A Young Alumni picnic party is held each year at Reunion for alumni who have graduated within the last ten years. Families are welcome to this event that features games, food, drink, music and fun for all. Young alumni without young families can arrange to meet with their classmates during the picnic to renew old ties and share their experiences. Look for details about the upcoming picnic during Reunion Weekend.
Life Series
Throughout the year, Young Alumni sponsor special events. The Young Alumni Committee presents the Life Series which is a series of dinner meetings where young alumni can share their careers, learn about a variety of subjects such as juggling financial responsibilities after graduation or buying a first home.
