Leone Keeps Valiants Honest in 20-12 Knights Loss
Purchase, NY: 4/26/08 - Arcadia senior keeper Michelle Leone put up a Valiant effort against the Valiants of Manhattanville College, making a career high 24 stops in goal on 54 Valiant shots in a 20-12 season ending loss for Arcadia.
First year Jenni Groves gave the Knights the early 1-0 lead, scoring unassisted just six minutes in but Manhattanville answered with a pair just 11 seconds apart to go up 2-1. Junior Shannon Bustin and Groves combined for back-to-back unassisted tallies in a 30 span to give Arcadia the lead back, 3-2, with just under ten minutes into the opening half but the Valiants answered again, with two more, unassisted goals, recapturing the lead 4-3.
Senior Jamie Stevenson tied the game for Arcadia at 14:48 off a pass from Bustin, her first of four on the day and then Melanie Mark found Erin Cunningham for to go-ahead as Arcadia once again took the 5-4 lead. Yet, the Valiants would go on to out-score Arcadia 5-2 to close out the second half, taking the 9-7 halftime advantage. Arcadia got goals from Cunningham (Luminita Hamilton with the assist) and Janelle Jablonksi on a free position with 8 seconds remaining.
Despite entering the game with an 0-7 MAC record, Arcadia fought hard in the first half and Leone made 17 of her 24 stops on 29 Valiant shots.
Manhattanville opened the second half scoring with a goal and defenseman Cybil Robinson broke open for a coast to coast goal, giving the Valiants the 11-7 lead before Stevenson added another Arcadia score, to make it 11-8. The Valiants would go on for four unanswered scores to put the game out of reach, holding the Knights to just four more goals before taking their 8th conference loss.
Stevenson led the Knights in her career ending game with 4 goals. Bustin finished with 2 goals, 2 assists while Janelle Jablonski and Groves each added a pair. Melanie Mark added a goal and an assist. Leone finished with 24 stops on 54 Valiant shots and 4 ground balls.
FDU Cruises Past Knights in Conference Closer
Glenside, PA: 4/22/08 - Middle Atlantic Conference leader FDU-Florham saw Laura Gambardello and Lindsey Specht score three goals apiece to lead eleven different players with goals as the Devils rolled past Arcadia University 18-4 in Glenside.
The Devils remain perfect in conference play and improve to 13-2 overall (7-0 MAC). The Knights (4-10 /0-7 MAC) have one final chance to get their first MAC win of the year, this Saturday at Manhattanville.
FDU built up an early 4-0 lead with a pair of goals each from Amada Wayne and Gambardello just five minutes in. FDU goalie Christine Dunn stopped Arcadia's best chance early on, on a point blank shot from Arcadia's Jill Hersh, who would eventually be forced to leave the game with an injury. Specht then put the Devils up 9-0 nothing when she scored three unanwsered goals and added an assist on their tenth tally of the period.
FDU held a convincing 13-0 advantage at halftime, with 9 different players scoring as the Devils out-shot Arcadia 19-8 in the opening stanza.
The Devils opened the second half with possession but the Knights finally got on the board at 22:25 when Jakki Timony found a cutting Melanie Mark in the lane to make it 13-1. One minute later, the Knights Shannon Bustin passed to Jenni Groves who hit the back of the net, making it 13-2 but FDU would add three more goals, going up 16-2. Timony once again worked her magic from behind the net, this time finding Groves for her second of the day but with FDU adding another score and the Knights missing on three point-blank efforts in front of the net, the Devils kept the game out of reach.
Arcadia would eventually add one last score on an odd-man rush with Erin Cunningham finding Bustin for her first of the day.
Michelle Leone made four first half stops for the Knights. Dunn picked up the win for FDU, playing the first half, making 6 stops and allowing no goals.
Defense Unable to Stop Widener in 18-5 MAC Loss
Chester, PA: 4/16/08 - Arcadia keeper Michelle Leone made 13 saves on 36 Widener shots but the Knights failed to capitalize on 28 opponent fouls, dropping to 0-6 in Middle Atlantic Conference play after tonight's 18-5 setback. The win gives Widener a 2-3 record in the MAC and 4-8 overall while the Knights fall to 4-9 combined.
Widener scored 10 straight goals over 16 1/2 minutes to open a 10-1 lead with 10 minutes left in the first half. Keri Schulz netted a trio of goals in that span to finish with a game high 7. The Pride owned a 24-10 shots edge in the opening half and 36-21 overall, a 15-10 edge in draw controls and committed 28 fouls to the Knights 15. Arcadia committed 6 (29-23) more turnovers while ground balls were even at 27.
Shannon Bustin scored twice for the Knights. Erin Cunningham finished with a goal, an assist, 3 ground balls and a caused TO. Melanie Mark finished with one helper, 3 ground balls, 2 draw controls and a caused TO. Jakki Timony added 2 draw controls and a team high 5 ground balls while Janelle Jablonksi added a pair of ground ball pick ups and caused turnovers. Jamie Stevenson and Jill Hersh added the other Arcadia goals.
Free Positions Sink Knights in 13-11 Loss to Wilkes University
Edwardsville, PA: 4/12/08 – Wilkes University held Arcadia University to only three second-half goals to secure a come-from-behind 13-11 victory on Saturday afternoon at the Ralston Complex to earn their first Middle Atlantic Conference win on the season. The victory enabled the Lady Colonels to even their overall record to 5-5 and see their conference mark move to 1-3. The Knights dropped to 4-8 overall and 0-5 in conference play with the loss.
The game featured seven ties and had been in favor of the Knights with a 8-7 halftime Arcadia edge, but Wilkes opened the second half with back to back scores to go up 9-8 before Jamie Stevenson tied things up at 9-all. The two teams traded scores with Janelle Jablonski's free position score with 13:11 left in the game tying the score at 10-all but then Wilkes tacked on two more free position attempts, including the game winner at 6:20 to hang on for the 13-11 win.
Six different players scored for Wilkes, including Casandra Valentin whose free-position goal with 6:20 remaining turned out to be the eventual game-winner. Ashley Leggio paced the Lady Colonel attack with five goals and two assists, Brittney Hodnik had two goals and three assists, and Chelsea Weinstein had three tallies. Justine Leggio chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Melissa Polchinski added one goal of her own.
Jamie Stevenson scored five times to lead the Arcadia offensive attack. Jenni Groves had one goal and dished out three helpers, Erin Cunningham had a goal and an assist, and Jakki Timony, Jill Hersh, Janelle Jablonski, and Melanie Mark each had a goal apiece. Shannon Bustin, who was held to just one shot on goal, had one assist for the Knights as well.
Wilkes goalkeeper Stacy Fimmano finished the game with 17 saves while Michelle Leone was credited with 13 saves in goal for Arcadia.
While shots were nearly even, Wilkes picked up ten more ground balls while Arcadia held turnovers to a minimum with 6 to Wilkes' 21.
The Knights travel to Widener on 4-16 for a 7 PM contest under the lights.
Messiah hands Knights 16-4 Loss
Glenside, PA: 4/9/08 - Messiah College broke out to a 7-0 lead in the first half over Arcadia University, going on to win 16-4 in Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse action. The loss drops Arcadia's record to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the conference while Messiah improves to 5-5 and 2-1 in Middle Atlantic play.
Leading 7-0 at the 18:24 mark in the opening half, the Knights finally strung together some offense, hitting the Falcons up for three straight goals, cutting into their lead 7-3. Shannon Bustin gave the Knights their first and third goals, both unassisted, while feeding the ball to Jamie Stevenson for Arcadia's second goal.
Messiah would up the score to 9-3 before Jakki Timony answered with 14 seconds remaining in the half to cut the Falcons' halftime lead to 9-4 but Messiah would net 7 unaswered goals in the second half en-route to the 16-4 conference win.
Senior keeper Michelle Leone made 15 saves in the game for Arcadia.
The Knights will look to rebound with their first conference win thsi Saturday at Wilkes University.
Knights Troubled by Griffins in 16-5 Loss
Gwynedd Valley, PA: 4/8/08 - The Knights followed up a big non-conference win on Saturday with a 5 goal losing effort against former PAC rival Gwynedd-Mercy Tuesday afternoon in Gwynedd Valley, PA with the Griffins taking the game 16-5. Arcadia's record falls to 4-6 overall while Gwynedd-Mercy improves to 7-4.
The Griffins outshot the Knights 30-19 while AU registerd 12 ground balls to the Griffin's 7.
Gwynedd-Mercy jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, scoring their first just 37 seconds into the game before Arcadia could anser at 9:56 on a free position goal from Jakki Timony. Arcadia struck again at 8:26 with Jill Hersh's first goal of the afternoon to cut the Griffin's lead to 6-2 but the home team outscored Arcadia 6-2 over the remaining first period securing the 11-4 halftime lead.
Hersh made it 11-5 at 28:58 to open the second half scoring but that would be the last time Arcadia would put the ball past Griffin keeper Trisha Timony as the Griffins lit up the goal for five more goals in the 16-5 win.
Jill Hersh registered a hat trick while Janelle Jablonski added a score for Arcadia. Jakki Timony also registered a goal, on her sister, Griffin keeper Trisha Timony, who finished with 7 saves in the win for the Griffins. Arcadia keeper Michelle Leone made 12 stops.
Arcadia returns to Middle Atlantic Conference action this Thursday, hosting Messiah College at 4 PM.
Women's Lacrosse Prevails in Offensive Thriller
Glenside, PA- 4/5/08 - Arcadia's top leading scorer's senior Jamie Stevenson and junior Shannon Bustin combined for 14 of Arcadia's 26 points on the day including the tying mark, go-ahead and insurance goals all with under 4 minutes left in regulation as the Knights came out on top 19-17 over the Griffins of Chestnut Hill College in this afternoon's non-conference women's lacrosse match. Arcadia snaps a three game winless streak with the win, improving to 4-5 overall. The loss for Chestnut Hill drops their overall mark to 2-8.
Offense ruled the afternoon with the two teams combining for 83 shots (42 CHC / 21 AU) and both goalkeepers, Michelle Leone for the Knights, and Stephanie Jordan for the Griffins tested often, making 19 and 20 stops respectively.
Chestnut Hill opened the scoring and went up 5-2 at the 20 minute mark before the Knights got themselves right back into the game. Melanie Mark ignited a four goal Arcadia run at 20:32 before Jill Hersh's goal at 17:19 cut the Griffins lead to 6-4. Bustin added a score at 13:03 to make it a one goal contest before Luminita Hamilton hit up Jordan for back-to-back goals giving the Knights the 7-6 advantage. The Griffins' leading scorer Katie Donovan answered with a pair plus one from Tiffanie Stanton as the visiting Griffins went up 9-7 at the close of the first half.
The second half featured twenty goals and three lead changes before going the way of the Knights in the final four minutes of play. Again down two, Arcadia hit for a free position goal thanks to Jill Hersh, setting up Luminita Hamilton for her goal just 40 seconds later, her second game tying mark of the afternoon, to knot the score at 10-all. Arcadia went up 11-10 at 25:12 but that would be the last lead the Knights would have for nearly 16 minutes when Jakki Timony fed Bustin for a goal to go up 16-15. Not to be out-done, the Griffins Stephanie Caryle got the better of the Arcadia defense, twice, scoring on a free position at 5:38 and then again at 4:50 giving the lead back to Chestnut Hill 17-16.
And that's when Arcadia's leading scorer's went for the ball and took it to goal three times with four minutes to play willing the win out from under the Griffins 19-17 as time ran out. The series opened at 4:02 with the tying goal on a pass from Timony to Stevenson and then at 3:27 Bustin left no doubt as the go ahead mark gave the Knights a 18-17 lead. Arcadia would maintain possession with only one turnover in the final three minutes but that only led to a countering Griffins turnover as Erin Cunningham made a perfect toss to Stevenson for the nail in the coffin with 5 seconds remaining.
Stevenson netted 6 goals, 1 helper and 7 draw controls, Bustin scored 6 and assisted on one and Hamilton picked up 3 and 1 assist to finish with 4 points to lead the Knights' offense. Jill Hersh with a pair of goals and Erin Cunningham with one goal and one assist round out the Arcadia scoring. Timony dished out 3 assists, led the team in ground balls with 5 and made 2 caused turnovers. First year Jenni Groves claimed 4 draws. Arcadia keeper Michelle Leone picked up her third win of the year (3-3) making 19 stops and connecting on 5 of 8 clear attempts.
As a team, Arcadia notched 9 caused turnovers and held the 18-17 edge in draw controls and clears 5 -4. The two squads went one for one with yellow cards.
For the Griffins, Carlyle led the losing team with 4 goals while Donovan and Maryanne Glass added three apeice to contine to pace the Griffins this season. Keeper Stephanie Jordan drops to 2-8 on the season.
Arcadia will host Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Messiah College on April 10 at 4 PM.
Blue Jays Hang Tough Conference Loss on Knights
Elizabethtown, PA: 4/2/08 - Arcadia Women's Lacrosse, playing without one of their top scorer's Jamie Stevenson, dropped to 0-3 in the conference as the Elizabethtown College Blue Jays tied their program's single game scoring record for goals at the mercy of the Knights, 24-3 in Middle Atlantic Conference play.
Elizabethtown built up a 4-0 lead before Arcadia's Melanie Mark found the back of the net at 21:12 to make it 4-1 Blue Jays. The home team upped their lead to 7-1 before Arcadia's Janelle Jablonski lit up Arcadia's side of the scoreboard again at 13:56 but the relentless scoring of the Blue Jays continued as they posted the final ten scores of the first half to own a 17-2 lead.
Elizabethtown continued to press offensively hitting the first four scores of the second half begining with only a minute gone by in the second half before Arcadia would score again on a free position attempt from Jakki Timony, Arcadia's third and final score of the game. But the Blue Jays clearly had the record in sight, pouring in three more tallies to hang the 24-3 loss on Arcadia.
The Blue Jays out-shot the Knights by a 40-10 margin and led 21-8 in draw controls while turnovers and ground ball pickups were nearly even. MAC Goalie of the Week Michelle Leone played the entire 60 minutes in net for Arcadia making 10 saves and hitting her teammates on 6 of 11 clear attempts. She added a caused turnover and 2 groundball pickups. Timony combined her free position goal with 3 ground balls, Katie O'Malley registered the lone assist while Kelly Donahue led the Knights with 2 caused turnovers.
Arcadia will play a non-conference game at home against local rival Chestnut Hill College this Saturday at 1 PM on the Kuch Center field. The game was orginally slated to be played on the road with an 11 AM start time.
Arcadia Falls to Moravian in Non-Conference Lacrosse
Glenside, PA: 3/31/08 - Moravian College outscored Arcadia 8-4 in the second half to break open a tight first half in a 14-8 victory over the Knights in non-conference women's lacrosse action. The loss is Arcadia's second straight and moves their record to 3-4 overall. Moravian improves to 5-2 overall.
Senior Erica Spatz had her way with the Arcadia defense notching 6 goals and 4 assists, with 5 goals coming in the second half spurt to put the game out of reach for Arcadia. Junior Jill Hersh led the Knights with a pair of goals and 2 helpers. Junior Shannon Bustin and senior Jamie Stevenson had two goals apeice for Arcadia. Senior netminder Michelle Leone posted 20 saves and connected with her teammates for 3 perfect clears in 3 attempts but took her 2rd loss of the year.
Sophomore Danielle Klim put Arcadia on the board first at 26:21 but the Greyhounds countered less than 40 ticks later to tie the game before building a 4-1 lead. First year Janelle Jablonski scored her only goal of the game at 17:24 cutting Moravian's lead to 4-2 but the Greyhounds answered again with a pair of unanswered tallies to go up 6-2. Arcadia's Jill Hersh gave the Knights a goal at 5:18 and another from Shannon Bustin at 3:04 moved the Knights back to within two, 6-4 at the half.
The two teams came out to a rain soaked field in the second half and Moravian needed only 26 seconds to notch goal number 7, eventually outscoring the Knights 8-4 the rest of the way out for the 14-8 win.
Arcadia returns to Middle Atlantic Conference play Wednesday at Elizabethtown College.
Monarchs Slide Past Knights 13-11
Glenside, PA: 3/29/08 - Arcadia University and King's College battled in a tight Middle Atlantic Conference match up this afternoon in Glenside with the Lady Monarchs of King's sliding past the Knights 13-11 in a game that went down to the wire. The loss gives Arcadia their second (0-2) in the conference, dropping their overall mark to 3-3. King's picks up their first MAC win (1-0) and improve to 2-4 overall.
Shannon Bustin led the Knights with four goals, and assist, making good on both free position attempts. Jamie Stevenson added a hat trick and one helper, making good on her only free position attempt of the afternoon. Michelle O'Brien of King's led all scorer's with 5 goals while Melissa Gates added the hat trick, including two for three on free position attempts. The Knights outscored King's in the second half 6-4 and netted four of their five free position attempts on the afternoon.
Arcadia opened the scoring at 23:58 with Jill Hersh connecting with Janelle Jablonski for the score but King's answered right back two minutes later with the first of Gates's three on the day. At 19:41 Jakki Timony found Jamie Stevenson giving the Knights the 2-1 lead but again King's needed just seconds to knot the game at 2-all, hit the go-ahead mark at 15:22 and took the 4-2 lead by 13:40.
Stevenson cut the lead to one at 8:52 before the teams traded scores with the Monarchs holding onto the two goal margin but King's converted on a free position shot prior to the end of the period, and a score with 3 seconds left to take the 9-5 lead into the half.
After King's scored to open the second at 25:10 on another free position shot, Timony sailed a perfect pass to Bustin who glided past two defenders for the score, adding a free position shot five minutes later to make it King's 11 , Arcadia 7 with 15 minutes remaining.
Jill Hersh added back-to-back tallies, the first on a free position, the second from Bustin to bring the score within two, 11-9. King's Candace Rush found the net at 4:40 to up the Monarch's lead to three but Abby Napstad took a pass from Stevenson right in front of keeper Heather Kelly and shoveled it into the goal, making it a two-goal game yet again. At 3:02 Arcadia was awarded another free position attempt and Bustin rifled it past Kelly to cut King's lead to 1 but Arcadia would get no closer, as King's had the final say on a goal from Michelle O'Brien at 1:53 to claim the 13-11 victory.
Michelle Leone was stellar in the cage, making 16 saves, including numerous point blank stops. Arcadia held King's to just 4 goals in the second half. King's keeper Heather Kelly made 9 saves in the win.
The Knights return to action this Monday at home in a make-up game against non-conference opponent Moravian College at 4 PM.
Lacrosse Topples Immaculata 14-4
Glenside, PA: 3/27/08 - Arcadia Women's Lacrosse placed seven different players in the scoring column as the Knights toppled non-conference opponent Immaculata University 14-4 Thursday afternoon in Glenside. The win is Arcadia's second straight as their early season record improves to 3-2.
Jamie Stevenson and Erin Cunningham provided 4 points apeice to lead Arcadia. Stevenson opened the scoring just three minutes into the game and finished with 4 scores and 2 draw controls. Cunningham notched a hat trick and added an assist, making good on a free position goal with 4 minutes remaining in the game.
Jill Hersh and Shannon Bustin scored two goals apeice. Bustin dished out 3 helpers to finish with a game high 5 points, with one of her two goals a free position score. Jakki Timony, Danielle Klim and Katie O'Malley added goals for the Knights. Michelle Leone picked up her second win in as many starts, making 11 saves with 4 goals against.
Arcadia rifled 36 shots at the Immaculata net and led the Mighty Macs across all categories. Arcadia led at the half 9-2. The Knights return to conference action this Saturday, hosting King's College at 1 PM.
Knights Even Record with 21-7 Win over Cedar Crest
Allentown, PA: 3/25/08 - Arcadia University Women's Lacrosse evened their early season record to 2-2 with today's convincing 21-7 victory over non-conference opponent Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA.
Shannon Bustin led the way with 4 goals and now leads the team with 9 goals and 11 points on the season. Erin Cunningham, Jakki Timony and Danielle Klim notched three goals apiece for Arcadia with Cunningham and Klim adding 3 assists each to finish with a combined 12 points. Janelle Jablonski scored twice and added a helper. Jamie Stevenson and Jill Hersh also added a pair of goals each while Kate Beers and Luminata Hamilton rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.
Michelle Leone got the start in goal for AU, making 4 saves with 2 goals against for her first win of the season while Brittany Rasmussen played the second half making 4 saves with 5 goals against. The Knights made good on two free positions shots from Timony and Klim.
Arcadia will look for their second straight win when they host non-conference Immaculata University this Thursday at 4 PM.
Stevenson Hits Career Mark but Owls Double Up on Knights 14-7
Bryn Mawr, PA: 3/22/08 - Senior Jamie Stevenson netted her 100th career collegiate score but Bryn Mawr College used a ten goal first half en-route to the 14-7 non-conference win over Arcadia in today's women's lacrosse action. The loss drops the Knights to 1-2 on the season.
Stevenson led the Knights with three goals on five shots on net, connecting for her 100th, at the 18:36 mark, unassisted, to make it 6-2 Bryn Mawr. Sophomore keeper Brittany Rasmussen started the game in the cage for Arcadia, allowing 10 Owl goals on 16 first half shots before senior keeper Michelle Leone entered in the second half. The two teams matched goals in the second half, 4 apeice and Leone faced 10 Owl shots, allowing just four past but it was too late for the Knights as the Owls held on for the 14-7 win. Both Rasmussen and Leone made 2 saves apeice in the loss.
Junior Jill Hersh added two scores for Arcadia, including a free position. Junior Shannon Bustin added a goal and an assist while sophomore Luminita Hamilton rounded out the scoring with one goal. Junior Kate Beers notched a team high 4 caused turnovers, picked up 3 ground balls and grabbed 1 draw control. Senior Jakki Timony, first year Janelle Jablonski and Stevenson earned two draw controls apeice.
Moriah Scott netted a game high six goals for Bryn Mawr while Greta Flaherty added five.
Arcadia travels to non-conference Cedar Crest on March 25.
Lycoming Tops Knights 19-8 in Middle Atlantic Opener
Glenside, PA: 3/16/08 - Arcadia University Women's Lacrosse evened their early season record at 1-1 after settling for a 19-8 loss this afternoon to the Warriors of Lycoming College in both team's Middle Atlantic Conference opening game. With the win, the Warriors improve to 3-2 overall.
The Warriors broke out to a 7-0 lead seven minutes into the game before the Knights replaced sophomore keeper Brittany Rasmussen with senior keeper Michelle Leone with 15 minutes remaining in the half. The Knights were able to get two goals before the half, an unassisted mark from junior Shannon Bustin and another from senior Jakki Timony, but the Warriors notched two more tallies by the end of the half to lead 11-2.
Arcadia senior Jamie Stevenson broke open the second half scoring at 27:26 and then answered again when junior Erin Cunningham slid a side armed pass into Stevenson's craddle who rifled it past Lycoming keeper Lauren Raby to make it 11-4 Warriors.
Lycoming was able to capitalize on back-to-back scores less than two minutes apart to push their lead back to 13-3 before upping their lead to 16-6 at 13:53 to keep the clocking in motion and the game out of reach from the Knights.
Bustin led Arcadia with a hat-trick on 6 shots, including a free position tally and 6 ground ball pick-ups. Timony and Stevenson added two goals apiece. Timony also added a helper, picked up 6 ground balls and made 2 caused turnovers. Junior Jill Hersh rounded out the scoring for Arcadia.
Rasmussen made 2 stops with 10 goals against in 15 minutes while Leone made 13 saves in 45:00 minutes of action, allowing 9 shots past. For Lycoming, Brittany Bryan and Lauren Raby split netminding duties with 8 and 5 saves respectively. Rabby allowed 6 goals against while Bryan let two past.
Megan Wllenhorst led all scorer's with 5 goals, 5 assists and 3 draw controls for the Warriors. Erin Durisin netted four goals on 4 shots while Sammi Jo Bell, Michelle Murphy and Morgan Guest added two apeice for Lycoming.
The Knights are back in action Thursday, playing host to Moravian College at 4 PM in Glenside.
Knights Open Season with 16-1 Win over Lancaster Bible
Glenside, PA: 3/6/09 - Arcadia Lacrosse opened the 2008 season with the convincing 16-1 decision over visiting non-conference opponent Lancaster Bible College. The Knights used at 12 goal first half to head into halftime leading 12-1, adding just 4 more in the second, virtually possessing the ball for the entire game.
Sophomore Brittany Rasmussen got the nod in goal for Arcadia as she allowed just one goal on only 4 shots, making 3 saves for her win of the year.
First year Katie O'Malley tallied a natural hat-trick, three straight goals, and added an assist to lead the Knights, while junior Melanie Mark notched her own hat-trick , including a free-position goal. Senior Jamie Stevenson added a goal and two assists while first years Melissa Yaeger and Kristen Chasse added two goals apeice.
Senior Jakki Timony and junior Shannon Bustin finished with a goal and an assist each with junior Erin Cunningham, Kate Beers and first year Janelle Jablonski adding one goal apiece for Arcadia. Junior Jill Hersh and first year Jenni Groves combined for three assists to round out the scoring for AU.
The Knights return to action Sunday, March 16 when they host Middle Atlantic opponent Lycoming College at 1 PM.
