Buechel would then move to third off a Kristen Burns SAC bunt in time for a two run blast down the left field line from Diana Rufo giving Arcadia the 4-2 lead.
Kiersten Hughes pitched her way through the 5th and 6th unscathed but a miscue in the infield led to a pair of unearned Ford scores to tie the game at 4, but with two runners on, Christine Snow gloved the Knight's final out of the inning. Arcadia would walk away from the 7th leaving the potential winning run on third base as Amanda Celentano drilled a near stand up triple on just one out but the Knights would turn a double play in the extra-inning 8th and held the Fords hitless before Holland gave the Knights the 5-4 win.
