Visiting Team Services
Taping, wrapping, and modalities are available to every visiting team. Please make sure that your team arrives with a medical kit that is stocked with all necessary supplies. If your team is not traveling with an athletic trainer, please notify us at least 1 day in advance of any pre-game treatments that your team will require. The athletic training room will open one (1) hour prior to the teams warming up and will close 30 minutes after the contest ends. An ATC will be present and water, ice, and emergency equipment will be provided.
Supplemental Athletic Insurance
All students are required to have personal health insurance. This insurance may be through a parent's plan or purchased through Student Health Services. Arcadia University provides supplemental insurance for those athletic injuries due to accidents that occur while participating in athletics. T.L. Groseclose covers the first $250 of any claim then it goes to the athlete's insurance. Once the athlete has met all of their deductibles and co-payments any outstanding charges that the primary insurance company will not pay reverts back to T.L. Groseclose. In order for T.L. Groseclose to process these claims, they require an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from the primary insurance company stating non-payment.
The NCAA provides a catastrophic injury insurance policy for all of its member institutions' athletes. If you have any questions regarding these insurance coverages, please contact Meghan Sarao, ATC at (215) 572-2848.
