At Arcadia University, your priorities determine your athletic opportunities. We design our programs to appeal to all levels of student ability and interest. The Knight's offer 14 NCAA sponsored intercollegiate programs. Men compete in baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and tennis. Women compete in basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, volleyball and tennis. We also offer three club sport teams in Cheerleading, Equestrian and Men's Lacrosse.

Here at Arcadia, we are strongly committed to the Division III philosophy of ensuring that athletics programs are an integral part of students educational experience. Our student-athletes have been very successful both in the classroom and on the field, and we continually seek ways to increase their opportunities for competition.

Beginning on August 1, 2007, the Knights began their new association with the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation (MAC), with membership in the Commonwealth and Middle Atlantic Conferences. The MAC affords the Knights the opportunity to compete for conference awards, championships and NCAA Automatic Qualification in soccer, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, golf, baseball and softball against Commonwealth Conference members Albright College, Alvernia University, Elizabethtown College, Lebanon Valley College, Lycoming College,  Messiah College, and Widener University  Swimming will participate in the Middle Atlantic Conference against Albright College, Elizabethtown College, FDU-Florham, King's College, Lebanon Valley College, Lycoming College, Messiah College, Misericordia University and Widener University. Women's lacrosse will participate against Alvernia University, Eastern University, Elizabethtown College, FDU-Florham, King's College, Lycoming College, Manhattanville College, Messiah College, Misericordia University, Widner University, and Wilkes University.

In 1992, Arcadia became a founding member of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) along with Alvernia College, Cabrini College, Cedar Crest College, Eastern University, Gwynedd-Mercy College, Immaculata University, Marywood University, College Misericordia, Neumann College, Rosemont College and Wesley College. In our 15 year history with the PAC, Arcadia teams have accumulated fourteen conference championship titles, and our student-athletes have garnered an abundance of All-PAC, All-Regional and All-American honors. In 2008 alone, 94 of our student-athletes posted a 3.2 GPA or higher during their season of competition.

Arcadia is a premier academic institution that deserves an equally prominent athletics program. Providing a strong commitment to achieving excellence in athletics, to ensuring the academic and personal needs of all student-athletes, to introducing sports and recreation into the fabric of the collegiate experience, and to building relationships with the University and the community are the primary goals of the Department of Athletics at Arcadia.

About Arcadia: The Arcadia Promise is a distinctively global, integrative and personal learning experience that prepares students to contribute and prosper in a diverse and dynamic world.
