Meaningful Fieldwork and Partner School Connections
Mentored by professors, classroom teachers and supervisors, students teach in school districts, charter schools and community organizations from the start of their studies.
Full-day fieldwork in Cheltenham and Upper Dublin school districts for undergraduate and graduate students.
International teaching experiences available in Guatemala and Costa Rica, with more to come.
Student and Faculty Research
Undergraduate and graduate students regularly present with faculty at local and national conferences and graduating students present results of culminating projects each semester.
In addition, undergraduate and graduate students at the SOE are involved with faculty research. Some of the topics include: inclusive education, diversity and schooling, gender and sexually diversity in education, family school collaboration, and school wide positive supports.
