Mentored by professors, classroom teachers and supervisors, students teach in school districts, charter schools and community organizations from the start of their studies.

Full-day fieldwork in Cheltenham and Upper Dublin school districts for undergraduate and graduate students.

Global Reach

International teaching experiences available in Guatemala and Costa Rica, with more to come.

Student and Faculty Research

Undergraduate and graduate students regularly present with faculty at local and national conferences and graduating students present results of culminating projects each semester.

Faculty research interests include, among others, behavior disorders; diversity in education; Latino student populations; improvisation, teaching and learning; technology in education; intervention tools; positive behavior support for autistic children; inclusive education; gender identity; differentiated instruction; parent education for early childcare providers; and establishing high quality teacher-preparation programs.
