Joel Wagoner, M.B.A., CPA, CMA, CFM, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton Evening School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Regis University in 2005, graduating with highest honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM).
Wagoner’s professional background includes experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, decision support, financial modeling, forecasts and analyses, public accounting and internal audit. His professional experience is primarily in the Insurance, Technology, Non-Profit, Retail, and Manufacturing industries. He is designated as an Associate of Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) and Associate of Research and Planning (ARP) by the Insurance Institute of America. In addition, he is certified in Teradata relational database management software and Microstrategy business intelligence software.
Wagoner serves on the Executive Committee, Relations with Colleges and Schools Committee, and Community Involvement and Social Responsibility Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as Vice President of Professional Development of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants, Steering Committee Vice President and Finance Committee Chair of The Peace Center, President of the Professionally Speaking Chapter of Toastmasters International, and Vice Chairman of the Jenkintown Borough Zoning Hearing Board. Professor Wagoner is a member of the American Accounting Association, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants.
