From Arcadia to the Museum of Modern Art

Contemporary artist Olafur Eliasson, who exhibited his work at Arcadia in 2004, has a major exhibition at theMuseum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City through June 30, 2008. “For those who attended the show at Arcadia University in 2004, it’s gratifying to see that the MoMA exhibit features Eliasson’s work entitled 360° room for all colours, similar to the work exhibited here. The exhibition at Arcadia was the first to introduce these large circular color rooms of Eliasson’s in the United States. “While our facilities may be modest, the quality of our exhibitions is superb,” points out Richard Torchia, Director of Arcadia’s Art Gallery.
