Marie T. Gallagher ’95 Endowed Scholarship

Nearly 100 faculty and staff have made gifts to fund a $35,000 endowed scholarship in honor of Marie T. Gallagher ’95, who retired this year after 28 years of service to the University. “Marie’s selfless commitment to helping students, faculty and staff is legendary,” says Dr. Michael L. Berger, Academic Vice President and Provost. “She was the first staff person to be recognized with a plaque of appreciation by the Faculty in 1988 and became the first recipient of the Martha Washington Service Award when it was inaugurated in 1999. The faculty and staff wanted to honor Marie in a way that will provide a lasting and living tribute to her and assist the most deserving students to study at Arcadia in the future.”
