Karen Rossi Brager ’91
Campaign Steering Committee, President of the Alumni Association, Ex-Officio Trustee
“This Campaign is a very important step forward for Arcadia, and it will help us to reach the next level as a University,” says Karen Rossi Brager ’91. “At Home & In the World—The Campaign for Arcadia University shows me that my alma mater is excited about the future. They are looking to grow and to include everyone in this process.”
During her time studying video communications at Arcadia, Brager made many lasting friendships and became an active member of campus life. She especially enjoyed helping to create the now annual Blitz Carnival and also meeting her husband, Eric Brager ’89.
As an alumna, Brager has remained actively involved in Arcadia by serving as President of the Alumni Association, as an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees and more recently on the Campaign Steering Committee.
“I am personally excited that the alumni have the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful new phase of growth,” she says about the Campaign. “I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to designate the gift that we give for a specific purpose. It is my hope that many alumni contribute in honor of our dear old friend Bennie Tate ’03HDL in hopes that we can dedicate a special area just for Bennie. He would be so proud of an area where students could gather and share smiles and laughter just as he always shared his smiles and laughter with us.”
Brager also wants all alums to realize that every gift counts, especially in today’s economy. “In these economic times, I hope that all alumni realize that giving even a small amount will help us to realize our goal. It will help to promote the growth of our alma mater—an alma mater that we can all be very proud to be associated with.”
In addition to helping Arcadia, Brager teaches communications at a number of local colleges.
