M.B.A. Students, Alumni Launch Cohort Challenge
Alumni from Arcadia’s M.B.A. program have created a Cohort Challenge aimed at creating new scholarships for students.

By giving back, we make a commitment to growing Arcadia’s M.B.A. program,” says Stacey Straughter ’09M.B.A. who works as a Communications and Marketing Manager for Count Me In, a not-for-profit that promotes the economic independence and growth of women entrepreneurs. “It is our responsibility as alumni to ensure the future and continue building the reputation of the program.”
Straughter and her peers from Cohort 8 already have met the Challenge by raising more than $28,000 toward a business student scholarship. By following Cohort 8’s lead and raising at least $25,000, other Cohorts can endow scholarships for business students. Plus, the Challenge gives alumni the opportunity to collaborate and stay connected.
“For the students who receive the scholarship, this will provide them with the opportunity to select a continuously developing program like Arcadia’s that is growing to meet the needs of today’s global business students,” says Susan Richardson ’08M.B.A., Chair of the Cohort Challenge.
Through the Campaign, there are a variety of payment plans, and donors can spread out their donations over five years. For more information, contact Drusilla Buscemi, Director, University Advancement, at 215-517-2523 or buscemid@arcadia.edu.
