Campus Wireless Network
Guest Wireless Network Instructions
Arcadia's campus-wide wireless network provides full coverage in all academic buildings, residence halls and administrative areas as well as areas in which students congregate such as the Walk of Pride and gathering spaces outside of the Spruance Fine Arts Center and Landman Library.
The network supports industry standard IEEE 802.11 a/b/g. Over 300 access points around campus provide a high-capacity and highly-secure wireless environment. In additional, the network's unique design provides seamless service and management through statistics, tracking of heavy usage and other information sources.
Only Arcadia University students, faculty, and staff are permitted to access the wireless network. Please note that all users must provide login credentials to access the wireless network.
Equipment Needed
Laptops must have at least a 802.11a/b/g wireless card. Wireless cards can be purchased in the computer networking section of stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City or through mail order computer suppliers.
Available Resources
Campus resources such as MyArcadia, Blackboard, campus e-mail and all internet resources are accessible through the wireless network.
