Arcadia University’s Award-Winning Theater Presents Girl Science, Feb. 23-March 4

Glenside, Pa.—Jan. 30, 2012—Arcadia University’s award-winning theater program presents Girl Science, Feb. 23 through March 4 on Arcadia’s MainStage in the Spruance Fine Arts Center, 450 S. Easton Road, Glenside, Pa.

Girl Science is about Lois, a historian, who selects her great aunt, Dr. Johanna Vernon, an eminent biologist and “forgotten pioneer ofscience,” as the subject for her new book. Reluctant at first, Johanna soon shares stories from her professional life and seemingly charmed girlhood. But was it? When Lois inadvertently uncovers a tragic truth, both women are changed forever. Girl Science is written by Larry Loebell and directed by Rebecca Wright.

  • Feb. 23, 24, 25 and March 1, 2, 3 at 8 p.m.
