TEDxArcadiaUniversity Speaker: Gregory Corbin
Gregory Corbin is a creative leader. He is an accomplished international poet, activist, hip-hop artist, and writer. Corbin founded the Philadelphia Youth Poetry Movement in 2006 and is currently the executive director of the program. He motivates from the front of the crowd, speaking at schools, conferences, and festivals. In 2011, he received the Focus on Prevention Award from Drexel University’s Center for Prevention of School-Aged Violence. Gregory Corbin has made the world his stage, performing the spoken word from South Carolina to South Africa. A graduate of Lincoln University, he is a Philadelphia native with the desire and will to inspire others to outwardly express themselves.
